Bollin Morris keep tradition alive and skipping with a come-back performance at Tatton Park

This Sunday Bollin Morris were delighted to be back out performing again after a long year of lockdown restrictions made practising together difficult.

Marcia Dale, a Bollin Morris veteran of 40 years told MM about their very colourful costumes and history, as well as adjustments the group had to make to their dances to protect themselves from Covid, even down to inventing a new move inspired by social distancing.

As both crowd and dancers revelled in the much-needed expression of pure joy and silliness, it was easy to see why the group wants to keep the fun going for decades to come.

The dancers and musicians smile for a group photo after their performance.
