Ed Sheeran in Manchester: Everything to expect

Global phenomenon Ed Sheeran will be continuing his Mathematics tour in Manchester this Thursday in the largest indoor arena in Europe – here’s how to make the most of it as a lucky ticket holder.

Expect an extraordinary colourful display of musical talent as the singer-songwriter performs his world renowned anthems to an audience of 21,000 at the AO Arena.

The singer-songwriter’s ‘Divide’ tour ended up with the status of best attended and highest grossing of all time – a title he is living up to this year as he showcases his creativity on his fourth world tour.

Smoothly transforming from up-tempo to ballad, expect to feel all emotions, before you know it you’ll be slowly dancing to ‘A Team’ after the energetic ‘Galway Girl’.

The AO Arena is located just a stone’s throw from the Manchester Victoria Train Station which is easily accessible via train or Metrolink.

Alternatively there is an official car park situated on New Bridge Street. Simply follow the M60 motorway and exit at Junction 17, then continue on the A56 to the music venue (no going over the castle on the hill required!). The postcode is M3 1AR.

If you fancy a light bite to fuel your concert dancing, restaurants nearby include Wagamamas, The Cosy Club, the Hard Rock Cafe, and Tampopo.

For a drink, there are an array of nearby bars including The Crown and Anchor, Flight Club, The Alchemist, and The Beer House Bar and Kitchen.

The event sold out in 12 minutes but a few tickets are available for resale on platforms like Ticketmaster, Viagogo, and Twitter.
