Sophie Wawa-Webster! Corrie star set to wow Christmas party crowds after ‘stunning’ Trafford Centre makeover

As her Corrie character Sophie Webster is set for a career move from helping in Dev’s shop to being a ‘bossy businesswoman’ in her dad Kevin’s expanding empire, Brooke Vincent seems to have made the shift from actress to glamour puss.

The actress, who became a household name after taking up her role on Coronation Street in 2004, has been given a high fashion makeover courtesy of intu Trafford Centre.

LOVE TRAIN: We’ve completely fallen for Brooke’s elegant, flowing purple and print gown

Beautiful Brooke swapped the understated and casual look she adopts for her role, for a gorgeous flowing purple dress that features a bespoke Jacobean print from designer Celia Birtwell.

The dress was handcrafted by Hannah Sykes a fashion graduate from the Manchester School of Art who picked up a graduate award for fashion innovation earlier in the year.

The star’s stunning makeover transformed her from her on-screen character into a fashion goddess ready to be the shining star at any Christmas do.

TRANSFORMATION: Brooke ‘loved’ the look and said it was a ‘real break’ from her on-screen character’s casual clothing

Brooke said: “The party season is truly upon us and I love to head to intu Trafford Centre to shop for a bit of sparkle.

“It was great to spend the morning being pampered, wearing the stunning one off dress created by intu, Celia Birtwell and Hannah Sykes and a real break from my on-screen characters usual clothing.

“I love the look and it’s something I’ll be recreating this season.”

PARTY READY: The Corrie star is ready to swap a stroll on The Cobble for strutting her stuff at the Christmas do

The Corrie stunner may be planning to slip into this exquisite outfit to strut her stuff this festive season but we can tell you one thing for certain – she won’t be strolling along The Cobbles in those black Aldo heels!

Good thing then that Brooke was asked to strike a pose and show off the latest in-vogue trend for sumptuous loud patterns on the appropriately glamorous marble staircase of the Great Hall.

No party season makeover is complete without the make-up and hair to complement the outfit.

HEAD-TO-TOE GLAMOUR: Brooke’s bespoke dress was matched with Aldo heels, makeup from Kiko Milano and hair by Regis

Brooke’s look was finished off with seductive smokey eyes and neutral lips from Kiko Milano and a wonderful curled side ponytail styled at Regis.

General Manager for intu Trafford Centre Richard Paxton said: “What a transformation from the on screen Sophie Webster we all love to watch midweek to Brooke, who looked absolutely stunning and was the perfect model for our one-off Celia Birtwell dress.”
