Sabaton is hitting 20 cities across Europe in 2025, with a groundbreaking show that is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
The band has recently announced that they are going to be bringing two stages to the Co-op Live Arena, with the Legendary Orchestra serving as their support act.
Par from Sabaton Has Launched a Side Project
Even though the band has been busy with their tour, one member in particular, Pär Sundström, bassist for the band, has been launching his side project as well.
His new game, Lord of Metal, is set for release in 2027 with Horns Up Games developing it.
The game is single-player and story-driven, as you are in charge of someone who is trying to bring rock music festivals back to life.
You will have to sign sponsors, claim festivals, and book bands.
This isn’t the first time that a band has ventured into gaming, either. Motley Crüe once released a game called Crüe Ball under EA.
The game featured three songs, including Dr. Feelgood, Live Wire, and their iconic classic, Home Sweet Home.
Rock music has also had a role to play in iGaming as well.
Casino slots like Rock the Reels Megaways keep in line with the rock and roll theme, with high-value symbols including tambourines, guitar picks, and mixing decks.
The highest-value symbol is a singer with a purple mohawk, which pays homage to rock and roll as a whole.
With rock games experiencing such success as of late, Lord of Metal is set to be huge, and a big sign that there is indeed a market for music games.
The New Sabaton Show Is Going to be Their Biggest Yet
Sabaton have said that they have some very big things planned for the upcoming tour. They have two stages and something that connects them.
Sabaton also created the Legendary Orchestra specifically for this run of shows, including the one that is taking place at the Co-Op Live Arena in Manchester.
There is, in fact, going to be a full concert, but then there is also a whole show being done by the Legendary Orchestra.
Lead singers, instrumentalists, and choirs are going to be taking to the stage, with no electric guitars, drums, or percussion.
This is going to give fans the chance to hear songs from Sabaton that they might not have heard otherwise, including songs from their new album, Legends.
They are going to be playing the Co-Op Live Arena on 5 December, followed by Nottingham Motorpoint Arena on the 6th.
They are then going across Europe, with the whole experience set to be very exciting for fans of heavy metal.
If you want to upgrade your experience, you can do so by taking advantage of the Co-op Backstage Club.
This is a dedicated entrance that transports you into a space that has been wholly inspired by the Manchester Northern Quarter.
You will have a dedicated cloakroom as well as several refreshing drinks. There is also going to be a merch stall, specifically for VIP members.
