A four-day festival showcasing the best creative work from Salford University’s arts and media students will return to MediaCityUK tomorrow.

Create Salford will include live performances of original comedy, poetry, dance, music and theatre as part of their end-of-degree and will take place from Wednesday June 17 – Saturday June 20.

Also included is a much anticipated fashion runway, art and design exhibits and an awards ceremony for the best in student journalism and media.

Members of the public, along with industry insiders, will be able to sample outstanding and exciting new works created by the next generation of creatives.

Speaking ahead of the Festival, Create Salford Director and Senior Lecturer Sam Ingleson said: “Create Salford is the highlight of our academic year.

“The Festival gives us the opportunity to showcase our students’ work to the public and the industry.

“It is our chance to celebrate the exceptional talents of our students.”
