Boy, 16, dies after falling from M60 motorway bridge in Oldham

A teenage boy has died after falling from a motorway bridge in Oldham.

Police were called to junction 21 of the M60 in Chadderton at around 2am today after someone was seen lying on the slip road.

Officers who attended found an injured boy, believed to be 16 years old, and rushed him to hospital but sadly he died shortly after.

The exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
