Healthcare workers staged a protest over pay and privatisation in Piccadilly Gardens which was one of 40 protests around the country, organised by Keep Our NHS Public.
There were a number of speakers present representing other campaign groups such as Health Campaigns Together, NHS Voices and Nurses United.
The protest drew a sizeable crowd, while complying with current social distancing measures.
A spokesperson for the group said: “Patient Care is suffering. We need to Save the NHS.”
