General Election 2015: Judgement day across Greater Manchester as region heads for the polling stations

The time for talking is over and the party leaders, perspective MPs and councillors and local activists have done pretty much all they can to win your vote.

But we all know that the fun doesn’t stop there and here at MM we’re gearing up for a (long) night of high drama not only across Greater Manchester but the whole of the country.

We’re got reporters across all ten Greater Manchester boroughs and they’ll be bringing you all the action as it happens.

From live broadcasts using the app Periscope to all the results and reaction long into the night, MM is the place to be tonight from 10pm.

Our team back at MM headquarters will be running a live blog ensuring you can keep up-to-date with happenings across the UK in what many are calling the closest General Election in decades.

Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter using @MM_newsonline and the hashtag #MMelection2015

To get you in the mood, here’s a recap of some of the kookier General Election-themed stories from the last week.
