Hundreds of anti-lockdown protesters gathered in huge crowds in Piccadilly Gardens and marched around the city centre this afternoon.
Protesters slammed lockdown measures as a tool of governmental control and a sign of tyranny, chanting ‘we do not consent’.
Many expressed anti-mask and anti-vaccine sentiments, arguing that the pandemic is a hoax designed to introduce a new era of state control.
