It could be you! Hunt for Lotto Trafford ticket holder to come forward for unclaimed £400,000 jackpot

A Lotto jackpot worth almost £400,000 is still unclaimed in Trafford – and has been handed a 180-day deadline until it’s given away to fund charity projects.

Ticket holders are being advised to double-check their tickets to claim the massive £389,998 prize.

The winning ticket matched all six numbers in the Lotto draw on Saturday June 21 with numbers 21, 3, 7, 13, 17, 27, 40 and the bonus ball 19.

To help in the hunt for the lucky winner, National Lottery has enlisted the help of Miss Manchester 2014 Codie Hayward who said: “It’s incredible to think that somebody in the Trafford area has won such a life-changing sum of money without even knowing it!”

The unaware ticket holder has until Thursday December 18 to come forward and claim their prize just in time for a Christmas pay day.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.”

If no-one comes forward with their winning ticket the prize money and interest will go to help National Lottery-funded projects, which raises over £33million every week.

The draw was on the very same day as Argentina beat Iran 1-0, the Nigerians defeated the Bosnians and Germany played an exhilarating match against Ghana which ended up as a 2-2 draw in the FIFA World Cup.

Non-football fans who were desperate to avoid the wall-to-wall coverage from Brazil may have been watching Billy Liar at Manchester’s Royal Exchange.

Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
