Hertz launch new and improved mobile app – allows users to use airplane mode on the move

The car hire firm Hertz have released a new version of its mobile app which allows users to access it in airplane mode, aimed at those who are always on the move.

Users can reschedule and update rentals which is convenient for Hertz customers.

Different screen sizes are catered to with the updated Hertz app.

Improvements such as faster reservations, persistent log in, quicker bookings and a fantastic enhanced location search option are only some of the new beneficial factors of the Hertz app.

Finding a location via the app has been greatly improved, which Hertz says their many customers will appreciate.

Features from the previous Hertz App are include quick access to roadside assistance, frequent deals, quick access, find nearby locations and save your Member ID for speedy booking.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hertz said: “Hertz strive to make the rental experience as fast, easy and enjoyable as possible, and our new innovations and technologies, including the redesigned mobile app, are just the start of what’s to come.”

Just like their cars, Hertz’ app gives customers speed, value and ease.

The app offers customer improvements with their ‘Travelling at the Speed of Hertz’ including ‘carfirmation’, which is Hertz’s mobile email/SMS text service.

The app also includes ‘Carfirmation Upgrade’, which show other available cars and upgrades while allowing its members select the one they want using only three simple and easy steps.

With ‘Hertz Gold Choice’ customers can keep the car they have already reserved previously or choose another.

Customers can now also return their car faster than ever with the ‘Hertz e-Return’ option.

Other improvements to the Hertz app includes the new ‘Hertz Express Rent’ which offers both airport and neighbourhood location customers the ability to rent cars through an interactive, video kiosk.  

With the Hertz Mobile App customers can find locations, book, modify and search car rental reservations on their phones.

The ‘Hertz Never Lost My Explore App’ users are able to plan and navigate cities on their phones while with the ‘Hertz 24/7 App’ they can access vehicles when and wherever they want.

All of these new improvements to the Hertz App make the app more beneficial to its customers and the possibilities seem endless.
