Opportunity for Manchester United fans to become first aid volunteers

Manchester United fans are being encouraged to take the opportunity to train with the St John Ambulance and become first aid volunteers at Old Trafford.

The first aid and healthcare charity is offering free training, uniforms, travel expenses and free admission to games when undertaking first aid duties.

Successful applicants will join experienced first aiders and healthcare professionals in being a part of the big St John team.

United fans, as well as general football fans, are invited to attend elite level sport for free but also learn important life skills whilst volunteering for a charity that works to keep supporters safe.

An initial recruitment day will take place on November 4 followed by training days later that month.

Applicants must live in Greater Manchester and must be able to pass an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check before they are accepted into the group.

Anyone who is interested in the opportunity can express their interest by emailing [email protected]
