City centre-back Demichelis, who endured a shaky start to his career at The Etihad, was a firm fixture in the team towards the end of the season and was well-known for his long, flowing pony-tail.
However, the 33-year-old shaved off his iconic hair in preparation for the tournament.
It wasn’t only Demichelis that was taking images on the flight though as teammate Aguero took the chance to snap a selfie with Barcelona talisman Messi.
