eChampions League held in Salford

The 2025 eChampions League knockout stages were held at dock10 in Salford, Manchester.

With $280,000 up for grabs, 24 players entered the tournament but the field was reduced to just eight as they competed in a single elimination format.

The finals will be held in Munich, Germany on the same week that the real Champions League final takes place at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Last year’s winner Jonny advanced to the quarter-finals, whilst Tekkz, who represents Manchester City’s esports team, was knocked out in the league phase after a shock result.

Brandon Smith, who commentates on the tournament, said: “It’s a really special tournament because it celebrates the world’s best players, who all meet up for a crazy tournament with some crazy money on the line.”
