Cristiano Ronaldo's agent says there is no chance the former Manchester United forward will return to Old Trafford and terrorise Premier League defences.

"Cristiano is very happy at Real Madrid and has always been happy. He is going to break all the records there and will retire there," Jorge Mendes told Spanish radio station Cadena COPE.

"He has an affection for United because his heart was there for six years. But now all he thinks of is Real Madrid and he will always be here.

"There won't be any player as good as him for the next 500 years."

The twice world player of the year has started the season with aplomb by scoring 13 goals in six La Liga matches, including a hat-trick last weekend and a four-goal haul in September which came hot on the heels of another treble.

Rumours circled that Ronaldo might be mulling a return to United when former Real president Ramon Calderon said the Portuguese player had become disillusioned with life in the Spanish capital.
