Manchester City under-19s star Olivier Ntcham struck an incredible goal from a flying volley in training before his side defeated Atletico Madrid 1-0 in the UEFA Youth League.

The 18-year-old Frenchman’s aerial shot lit up the session at the Spanish side’s training ground before the Blues’ repeated their goalscoring trick in last night’s match.

Devante Cole, son of former United and City star Andrew, struck the only goal of the last-16 clash, while Ntcham started on the bench, setting up a quarter final tie with Benfica.

Cole tweeted: “1-0 Win against atletico Madrid love that from the boys. Happy to get the goal.”

Portuguese Benfica cruised through with a 4-1 win over Austria Wien.

The one-off match will be played between February 18-26.

The likes of fellow European heavyweights Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea are also in the inaugural UEFA Youth League competition.
