Manchester, get ready to rumble! HXC wrestling anniversary show promises 30-man brawl

Fight fans are set for a wrestling extravaganza as HXC promotions brings some of the UK’s finest talent to Manchester for their one-year anniversary show.

Another Dark Night, at The Ritz, Manchester, will see some of the country’s top wrestlers battle it out in a 30-man hardcore rumble to mark the company’s one year anniversary on April 6.

Testosterone fuelled fans will also get to witness a tag-team battle against the smoking hot, Leah Owens and Lana Austin vs Violet Vendetta and Miss Viper.

General Manager Lauren-Klair Soar told MM: “It’s a very exciting time. The entire year has been amazing, each show has gotten bigger and better, our roster is amazing, our fans are incredible and we just continue to grow and grow.

“We have five mainstream matches for this show which include singles and insane match up tag matches.

“But for the first time ever, we’re hosting a 30-man hardcore rumble.”

CARNAGE: 30-man rumble is the first in HXC history

Fans will have the chance to see former RQW Cruiserweight Champion Bubblegum take on The Mexican Dragon AKA El Ligero before cheering on other well known competitors including T-Bone, Tommy End, Jack Jester and Cyanide.

“HXC is still in its infancy, with this show being our first anniversary event,” Lauren said.

“We don’t have any titles on the line as such as yet, but this show will be there gateway to many an ongoing rivalry as always happens in a rumble, so who knows what we’re going to be faced with”.

The event, which HXC hopes will be the first of many, will be the first time wrestling has been brought to The Ritz.

DOUBLE TEAM: Lana will be fighting in an epic tag-team match

She told MM: “It’s the right time for HXC to take that step up and a partnership with such a venue is an awesome way to do that.”

Since early 2013 HXC has been bringing bloody brawls to the city and has rounded up an army of fans who have been posting their excitement for this weekend’s event on Twitter.

Lauren told MM: “We’re set for our biggest turn out yet, with the capacity of the Ritz it’s allowed us to pretty much unlimited ticket availability.

SCARY: Tommy is hoping to end his opponent

“Tickets will be available on the night for any last minute decisions or new faces.”

Asked if there are any surprises in store Lauren said: “There are always surprises at HXC sometimes we don’t even know about them.

“But you’ll just have to come along to find out.”
