Manchester Super Giants announce exciting giveaway for all fans attending home games

The Manchester Super Giants cricket team have announced a groundbreaking initiative to give out complimentary Super Giants shirts to every fan who buys a ticket for a home game.

The new giveaway is the first of its kind, and will apply to all general admission and hospitality tickets purchased for any home games during The Hundred, with supporters able to collect their shirts at the venue on match days.

The initiative follows a push from the franchise’s new owners, RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group and Lancashire Cricket, to develop the Super Giants identity.

Justin Langer, the team’s Head Men’s Coach, celebrated the initiative, emphasising that he is keen to build a buzzing atmosphere at the ground throughout the tournament.

He said: “The support we get from the stands can make a huge difference.

“It will be brilliant to see the ground full of people wearing the Super Giants shirt and getting behind both teams.”

Women’s Head Coach, Matthew Mott, echoed Langer’s sentiments: “Playing in front of strong home crowds gives the players a real lift.

“We’ve got a squad that we believe can make our fans proud and we hope the giveaway will give them a chance to feel part of the Super Giants experience from our first game.”

The competition is set to kick off on 21 July, with the Super Giants first home fixture against Birmingham Phoenix scheduled for 26 July.

Tickets for all Manchester Super Giants home fixtures at Emirates Old Trafford can be purchased here.
