Manchester’s coolest beer garden opens in time for sunny bank holiday weekend

Kampus garden neighbourhood in Manchester is hosting its biggest ever summer line-up kicking off today for the bank holiday weekend.

Some of the city’s most loved homegrown food and drink venues including Nell’s, Pollen, and Great North Pie will be delivering food and drink in the neighbourhood garden.

Last night Mancunian Matters went to check out its launch party to see what the vibe was about!

If you’re looking for a beer garden now that the sun is shining in Manchester this is absolutely the place to come.

Surrounded by bars and food venues in the midst of the garden it makes you feel like you’re abroad, and not five minutes away from Piccadilly train station!

For the first time, tables and chairs will be nestled throughout the giant tree ferns which will also see the likes of new bars SEVEN BRO7HERS Brewing Co and Three Little Words serving up drinks.

Keith McAvoy, CEO of SEVEN BRO7HERS, said: “We’ve been big fans of Kampus for a while so we jumped at the chance to put on a summer-long party and create a new beerhouse here. The historic setting is stunning and we know we’ll create, hands down, the best beer garden in Manchester.

“We’re a family run business, born here in Greater Manchester. Our Kampus run is a fitting celebration for how far the brewery has come with the incredible support of every person who’s ever enjoyed a SEVEN BRO7HERS pint. We’ll be in good company with our brilliant independent neighbours and encourage everyone to come spend summer with us.”

The brewery, founded in Salford in 2014 by the seven McAvoy brothers, is part of the Kampus Easter weekender, with a series of live acoustic sets and funk and soul DJs bringing the party vibes.

With the sunny weather rolling in it’s bound to attract the crowd this weekend.
