Blossoms fans have today started snatching up tickets for the band’s much anticipated Manchester residency this November.
Pre-sale tickets went on sale at 9:30am ahead of the general release on Friday.
The Stockport band announced earlier this week their five-night residency in Manchester as part of their upcoming tour.
They are covering five of the city’s most renowned venues – Manchester Academy, O2 Ritz, Albert Hall, Victoria Warehouse and O2 Apollo – over five nights during November.
Support acts for the shows include Neon Waltz, The K’s and Leigh’s Lottery Winners.
Blossoms are planning to release their latest album, Gary – also on Friday – with their UK tour kicking off in Newcastle on 17 October.
The album will feature their singles Perfect Me, What Can I Say After I’m Sorry? and fan-favourite Gary – a song inspired by an eight-foot-tall fibreglass gorilla stolen from a garden centre.
The band last performed in Manchester less than a month ago and described their show in Wythenshawe Park as “the best show of our lives”.
The five-man band – Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock – formed back in 2013 and were fourth on BBC’s Sound of New Music List in 2016.
Their most popular songs include platinum-selling record Charlemagne, Your Girlfriend and Honey Sweet.
