DoSport UK shoots 10,000 baskets to keep sessions running

A club which runs sports sessions for people with a disability organised a fundraiser where members of the community and others came in to shoot 10,000 baskets.

The event, organised by DoSport UK, was held at King’s School in Macclesfield and saw more than 40 members help out to reach the goal.

Right from when the first basket was scored at 10am, members kept coming and help the organisation reach their goal.

Manchester-based charity Make a Smile was also at the fundraiser to cheer the kids and other people with their superhero costumes.

After five hours, the 10,000th basket was made during a small game which was organised around 2:45pm to sign things off.
