Manchester United’s French international defender Patrice Evra, who signed a one-year extension deal in May, could be on his way to Juventus.
The Italian giants have made an approach to United over the 33-year-old’s availability.
Evra faces competition for the left-back role under Louis van Gaal after the arrival of new signing Luke Shaw.
Evra has played 379 times for United, winning five Premier League titles and the Champions League in 2008 and was one of a few experienced players at Old Trafford in line to replace Serbian Nemanja Vidic as captain.
