On the outskirts of Bolton town centre lies Round4Round boxing gym.
Formed in 2021, this gym has an affiliation with local legend, Amir Khan, and strives to connect and motivate the community.
The gym hosts classes for grass roots boxing all the way to amateur, and has pathways in place to facilitate professional boxing.
The club was recently recognised at the Muslim Boxing Awards, as co-founder Nasir Akram was awarded the Community Impact Through Boxing Award.
Co-founder, coach and friend of Amir Khan, Ashif Ashik explained the club aims to make an impact ‘one round at a time.’
He said: “We look at development pathways for boxing, making a difference at grass roots level all the way to the Olympic level.”
