At around 2.30am on Sunday August 2, the 27-year-old victimwas on the dance floor of Guilty By Association night club on Stephenson Square when there was an altercation between him and two other men.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police executed ten warrants in the Oldham and Ashton-under-Lyne areas following an investigation by the Economic Crime Unit into a sophisticated series of frauds, whereby high value cars were stolen from car finance companies.
The incident took place at around 5.30am last Tuesday (August 18) when a BMW 5 series was surrounded by a group while stopped at traffic lights at the junction of Cecil Road and Hill Lane.
