Jordan Brennan death: Boy, 16, charged with murder after Gorton shop row

A 16-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of Gorton teenager Jordan Brennan.

Jordan, 17, was with two friends at around 7.30pm on October, 10, when he was attacked as he left the N.A Grocer store in Hyde Road, Gorton.

After the attack Jordan got up and returned home, but it is believed he suffered a fatal head injury in the fall.

The Manchester College student  was found lifeless in bed the following morning when his mother Kim tried to wake him up for breakfast.

Paramedics attended their address in Gorton, and Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Today, a 16-year-old boy from Gorton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with murder.

He is due to appear Manchester Youth Court tomorrow.
