A Manchester-based landscape artist has taken on the challenge of painting a music tour of the UK.
Ben Rock, known as SketchMCR, merged his love of music with his profession and will take the tour to exhibition later this year.
Some of the iconic Manchester venues SketchMCR has painted include Salford Lads Club, Boardwalk and the GMEX (now known as Manchester Central).
Originally from Plymouth, the plein air artist made his first trip to Manchester when he was just 16 years old after winning a radio competition to see Oasis at Maine Road.
Little did Ben Rock know then that Manchester would be the city he would later call home and base his business out of.
