Jorja Smith to play Manchester’s Albert Hall for one night only

Ahead of her highly anticipated album, Jorja Smith has announced a series of intimate headline shows – and she’s coming to Manchester on Thursday 9 November.

When the 26-year-old R&B artist released her debut album Lost & Found in 2018, she received critical acclaim.

Songs such as ‘Blue Lights’ and ‘Teenage Fantasy’ propelled her to new heights as she went on to win the 2019 Brit Award for Best Female Artist.

Now, five years later, she is set to make her return – with the release of her new album ‘falling or flying’ on Friday 29 September.

The album will feature 16 songs – including her huge summer single ‘Little Things’ and 12 new unreleased tracks.

Smith said: “I like this world that I’ve just come into. And I’m still figuring things out.

“This is the first time I’m putting something out there that I can connect with right now.”

As part of its promotion, Smith has announced that she will be performing three intimate headline shows.

After starting in her hometown of Birmingham, she will go on to play Manchester’s Albert Hall on Thursday 9 November, before concluding in London.

Pre-sale for Manchester starts 10am on Wednesday 20 September. The general sale will follow soon after, at 10am on Friday 22 September.

Tickets will be available on Jorja Smith’s official website.
