Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour film is coming to the UK this October

Taylor Swift has finally announced that her Eras Tour concert film will be debuting globally this October – so here’s where to get tickets in Manchester…

When the 33-year-old sensation first announced the release of the film in August, it took less than 24 hours for the film to break AMC Theatres US record for highest ticket sales during a single day.

Now, nearly a month later, it has finally been revealed that the film is being released in cinemas globally – premiering in the UK on Friday 13 October.

The sold out Eras Tour has created a frenzy since it was announced in November last year.

UK fans still have a while to wait until the tour arrives here, however, as the European leg of the tour doesn’t start until March next year.

The highly anticipated film could be the perfect teaser in the meantime, and give fans who missed out on tickets a way to experience the record-breaking tour for themselves.

The 12-time Grammy winner took to social media yesterday to announce the release of the film globally.

Directed by Sam Wrench, the film will have a runtime of 2 hours 48 minutes and includes every song featured in her colossal 44-song setlist.

So, where can you watch the film in Manchester?

Well, the film is set to screen at every Odeon cinema across Europe, including Manchester Great Northern and the Trafford Centre.

Odeon prices start at £13.13 for children and £19.89 for adults – a reference to the singer’s lucky number and year of birth.

Fans will be able to get their hands on a free poster at their local Odeon if they buy tickets on 13 October until 15 October, while stocks last.

The Odeon are also offering an official combo including an Eras Tour popcorn tin and collectable cup.

If there isn’t an Odeon near you, don’t panic, as the film will also be screening at other cinemas too, such as Vue and Everyman.

With Taylor Swift Tour attire and friendship bracelets strongly encouraged, it won’t be one to miss.

Tickets are on sale now, so… are you Ready For It?
