Teenage boy recovering in hospital after Manchester Ducie Street car park stabbing

A teenage boy was stabbed in a Manchester car park in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Greater Manchester Police were called to a car park on Ducie street at around 3.50pm after a 16-year-old boy had been stabbed in the arm.

The victim remains in hospital due to a serious puncture wound that required emergency surgery on his arm. His condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

Police believe that one man is responsible for the attack and are asking the attacker to make contact with them at the earliest opportunity on 101. 

Enquiries are ongoing.
