Teenage girl charged with murder after man dies from broken leg and multiple injuries at Rusholme address

An 18-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a man was found dead at a house in Rusholme last year.

Tinika Campbell, of Dickenson Road, Rusholme is being held after Khalid Kassian Hassan was found in an address on the street shortly after 5.15am on Friday August 31.

Hassan was found with serious injuries, including a broken leg, and a post-mortem examination revealed that the wounds caused his death.

Campbell, also charged with assaulting a police officer, was arrested on August 31 but later sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

However, she will now face trial and is next due at court on June 17.
