Manchester has become the latest home to creative British menswear brand Diverso, with the opening of a new store on King Street.
The London-based make has been creating ready-to-wear pieces for its growing international clientele for over eight years and is now open for business in Manchester.
The opening marks Diverso’s second specialist menswear boutique after London, and their commercial director Darren Hampton is thrilled by the opportunities the Manchester store will bring.
“We are very excited to be opening in Manchester,” co-founder Hampton said.
“It is a vibrant and fast growing city that is experiencing a fashion ‘boom’ and we believe King Street to be the perfect location for our second UK boutique.
“The location has all the characteristics of our St Christopher’s Place flagship store in London which is what instantly attracted us to the area.”
It is predicted that the location in Manchester will encompass an ‘eclectic’ mix of tenants and the ‘relaxed’ personal atmosphere Diverso strive for.

The philosophy behind Diverso is simple – combining innovative British design with the rich heritage of the ‘Made in Italy’ hallmark.
Every garment is produced using luxurious fabrics, crafted by a select number of family-run workshops based in Italy – each one specialising in producing a single product.
Diverso’s creative director James Reynolds believes the brand has several key qualities which are vital to the businesses continuing success.
“Creative design, expert craftsmanship coupled with very personal customer service is the cornerstone of our brand qualities,” said fellow co-founder Reynolds.
“The typical Diverso customer is a very loyal and discerning individual, in search of something beautifully made and just a little different from more main-stream offerings.
“These are the ‘needs’ we aim to satisfy each season.”
Diverso will showcase their Autumn Winter 15 collection on the MCR Fashion Industry catwalk at their Gothic Romance: Evening Of Style event on November 29.
Their latest Autumn Winter collection is also now available at King Street, Manchester, M2 4LY and online here.
