Police appeal after man robbed of watch at gunpoint in Hulme

Police are appealing for information after a man was robbed at gunpoint after leaving a party in Hulme.

At around 12.20am last Sunday morning, the 25-year-old man left a party on Boundary Lane when he was approached by four men.

They asked him for a cigarette and said he had a nice watch before they pointed handguns at him, snatched his Samsung S6 Galaxy mobile phone and removed the watch from his wrist.

The men, who are all described as black and wearing all black clothing, then fled down Boundary Lane and turned left onto Ruby Street.

Police have issued a picture of the man’s watch, which is described as a gold Cartier Santos watch with a square clock face, diamonds and a black leather strap.

Detective Constable Michael Burns of GMP’s City of Manchester Team, said: “The robbery has left the man shaken and distressed after he has had a gun pointed at him and his valuables stolen.

“I’m appealing to anyone who has any information about the robbery or may have witnessed the incident.”
