Book of condolence at the Science and Industry Museum

The Queen saw many scientific and technological developments during her lifetime. She demonstrated her gratitude for the advancements up here in the North by visiting the Manchester Science and Industry Museum.

Members of the public can attend the museum to discover a rich history of scientific, technological and engineering achievements which occurred during Queen Elizabeth II’s reign.

The Science and Industry Museum said: “We offer our condolences to the Royal Family and join people across the world in mourning the passing of her majesty the Queen. The museum will be closed on Monday 19 September – The day of the state funeral – as a mark of respect.”

The museum have placed a book of condolence inside the museum for people to sign and write messages for the Queen and the Royal Family.
