Two-time Winter Olympian Ben Kilner to give snowboarding masterclass at Manchester’s Chill Factore

Two-time Olympian Ben Kilner will be hitting the slopes of Chill Factore in Manchester next Thursday November 3 to showcase his skills and offer some top tips.

Chill Factore, which boasts the UK’s longest indoor real snow slope, is hosting an exclusive ‘freestyle with the stars day’ to celebrate the start of the peak snow sports season.

Snowboarders and skiers of all ages and abilities will be able to ride alongside Ben and witness some world class tricks as he demonstrates why he is Britain’s first ever World Cup men’s halfpipe bronze medallist.

The 28-year-old has competed world-wide in the half-pipe, slopestyle and big air disciplines but now will be hitting Chill Factore’s freestyle park, as he prepares for his third Winter Olympics in 2018.

Ben, who has been snowboarding since the age of nine, said: “Chill Factore’s freestyle with the stars event is set to get everyone excited for the peak season ahead.

“I look forward to welcoming boarders and skiers of all abilities to join me on the freestyle slope.”

Visitors will also share the slopes with a number of Chill Factore sponsored athletes who are preparing for the peak season ahead.
