‘Every non-voter is a loony voter’: Sir Oink-A-Lot of the Monster Raving Loony Party

Mancunian Matters spoke to Sir Oink-A-Lot, the official Monster Raving Loony Party candidate for Northenden in the Manchester City Council Elections.

The Monster Raving Loony Party is a long-running protest party, founded by Screaming Lord Sutch in 1982.

And in Northenden, Sir Oink-A-Lot is claiming victory as, in his words, “every non-voter is a loony voter” – a philosophy that would mean they claimed around 76% of the electorate.
