Watch: A modern adaptation of classical Persian poetry in Manchester

A Persian cultural centre in Manchester held a remarkable performance at RNCM, showcasing the Iranian culture through music and dance.

Sahba Music Academy put Labyrinth of Love on the stage of the Royal Northern College of Music to introduce the long-forgotten Persian culture to the non-Iranian audience.

Labyrinth of Love is a story inspired by The Conference of the Birds, a poem by Attar, an Iranian Sufi poet. In this story, the seeker must traverse seven cities of love on the journey toward perfection.

Iranian Musicians, singers, and dancers from all over the world have gathered in Manchester for this performance.
